We have been going on our yearly Disney trek to for many years now. With the exception of my daughter's first visit, when she was 5, we have always bought an autograph book at the parks. I learned my lesson quickly, after trying to save a few bucks by buying an inexpensive Ariel diary at a local store, to use for character autographs. No place for photos, being a small diary. The pages later began to fall out. Let me tell you, although they may seem expensive, the Disney autograph books really do make very special mementos of our visits thru the years.
Are characters signing autographs becoming a thing of the past? I found myself wondering after our last trip to Walt Disney World this past December, So much so that it became a point of discussion in our house as we were reminiscing about our vacation. There are autograph books for sale at every single store, kiosk, and souvenir spot around the whole of Walt Disney World. Truly, I can only think of a handful of items as readily available as autograph books.
